Calling all 1776 families! (Program Updates)

Happy weekend, Pack 1776 families! We hope all of the scouts are having a great start to the school year, although we know it looks a bit different. Parents and guardians, please check your email. Our cubmaster has sent out an update with guidelines and program ideas for the 2020-2021 scouting year. Included in the email is a 1-2minute survey that we are asking all parents/guardians to fill out in order to help us plan for our program. The survey results and guidelines will be discussed at a zoom parent meeting on Monday Sept 21st, at 7pm. The zoom link and login information will be sent via email that morning.

If you did not receive this email, check spam. If it is still not there, please do not hesitate to reach out to us via email, or on Facebook messenger and we will make sure you get it. Any questions you may have can be filled out on the survey and addressed during the parent meeting. We look forward to seeing familiar faces on zoom and hopefully finding our way back to the scouting trail, safely, soon.

Yours In Scouting,

The leaders of Pack 1776

Parent Meeting January 13

PARENT MEETING JANUARY 13, 7:00 PM

Welcome back Pack 1776! It’s a brand new year filled with brand new excitement for our scouts!  Ordinarily, we do general announcements after each meeting, but this Monday, January 13, we will be holding a parent meeting while our scouts are enjoying their activities.  We have a lot of important information for you, so we are really counting on you to be there.  Topics will include changes, improvements, plans for the pack, upcoming events and our winter awards service.  We hope you had a wonderful holiday break and we are looking forward to seeing you Monday at 7:00 PM!

Pack Meeting Tomorrow Night

Happy Cub ScoutTomorrow (Monday, Dec 4) we will be having a pack meeting. We ask that all scouts to be in as much of their official uniform as they have, be on time, and to be full of energy and cub scout spirit. Additionally, at least one parent/guardian should attend with their scout to support their accomplishments, encourage them further, and for any announcements.

For those who are not familiar with what a pack meeting is; it is when all of the dens come together so that the scouts may be recognized for their accomplishments thus far. Pack meetings are often 1.5 hours long and arriving on time helps us to prevent it from going over the scheduled time. This pack meeting will start with the Bobcat ceremony for all new scouts that have completed the Bobcat rank.

We would like to have some of the 2nd year Webelos Scouts, and a maybe a few of the 1st year Webelos scouts to assist with the Bobcat ceremony; if parents of returning 1st & 2nd year Webelos could plan on being at the gym by 6:30 it would help make sure that the scouts have time to understand what they need to do.

Thank you and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
